(KYIV, UKRAINE) – More than 6,000 agricultural enterprises in Ukraine have received over UAH 44 billion in loans through the state affordable lending programme this year. The total is equal to about 1.19 billion US dollars or 938 million British pounds.
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food announced the figures. Since the start of the year, 6,638 agricultural enterprises have secured nearly UAH 44.63 billion through the 5-7-9 percent programme. The ministry said the numbers show the effectiveness of concessional financing and the strength of the programme in difficult macroeconomic conditions.
Farmers in Odesa region used the programme most actively. They received UAH 5.85 billion in loans for 774 agricultural enterprises. This is equal to about 156 million US dollars or 123 million British pounds.
Agricultural producers in Kyiv region secured UAH 4.30 billion for 559 enterprises. This is equal to about 115 million US dollars or 90 million British pounds. Kirovohrad region farmers received UAH 4.03 billion for 777 enterprises, equal to about 108 million US dollars or 85 million British pounds. Vinnytsia region secured UAH 3.96 billion for 704 enterprises, equal to about 106 million US dollars or 83 million British pounds. Kharkiv region received UAH 3.11 billion for 389 enterprises, equal to about 83 million US dollars or 65 million British pounds.
In total, 11,411 agricultural enterprises have received more than UAH 100.18 billion in credit across all financing programmes since the start of the year. This is equal to about 2.68 billion US dollars or 2.11 billion British pounds.
In 2025, 15,574 agricultural enterprises received UAH 131.47 billion in bank loans for development. This is equal to about 3.52 billion US dollars or 2.77 billion British pounds. Under the state 5-7-9 percent programme, 7,978 farms were financed to the sum of UAH 53.75 billion, equal to about 1.44 billion US dollars or 1.13 billion British pounds.
