(NAIROBI, KENYA) – Payments firm Pesapal and Drift Consult have partnered to drive adoption of RACK, an integrated business management and payments solution aimed at helping retail and hospitality businesses across Africa gain greater control, visibility and efficiency in their operations.

The partnership comes as retailers and hospitality businesses across the continent face rising operating costs, changing customer expectations and increasingly digital consumers. The ability to manage sales, payments and day to day operations from a single platform is becoming more important.

Under the partnership, Drift Consult will help businesses identify opportunities to digitise and streamline operations, while Pesapal provides the technology infrastructure that connects payments, sales and business management through RACK.

RACK offers a more connected way to manage everyday sales across stores and outlets. Businesses can manage transactions, track inventory and monitor performance while accepting multiple payment methods, including cards and mobile money. This gives owners and managers greater visibility across operations and reduces the manual work of reconciling sales and payments.

The platform is also designed to support the fast moving nature of restaurants, cafés, bars and other food and beverage establishments. Teams can manage orders and payments more efficiently while giving customers a smoother experience from ordering to checkout. With greater visibility into sales and outlet performance, managers can make faster and better informed decisions.

“Businesses today need more than a payment solution. They need technology that gives them visibility across their operations and helps them make better decisions,” said Agosta Liko, founder of Pesapal.

“Our partnership with Drift Consulting brings together technology and business expertise to help retailers and hospitality businesses simplify how they operate, improve efficiency and create a stronger foundation for growth,” Liko said.

Ferdinand Eloto, co-founder of Drift Consult, said the partnership with Pesapal is about helping businesses move from fragmented processes to smarter and more connected operations.

“RACK gives businesses the visibility and tools they need to understand their performance, improve efficiency and make more informed decisions. We are excited to work with Pesapal to help more businesses adopt technology that delivers practical, measurable value,” Eloto said.
