( KYIV, Ukraine ) – Retail fuel prices in Ukraine edged lower on Tuesday, 11 August, with the average cost of both petrol and diesel falling, according to data from the minfin.com.ua monitoring portal.
The average price of A-95 petrol decreased by 6 kopiyok to UAH 80.99 per litre. Diesel fuel dropped by 7 kopiyok to UAH 92.57 per litre. A-92 petrol fell by 2 kopiyok to UAH 77.85 per litre. Premium A-95 petrol was recorded at UAH 84.28 per litre. The average price of autogas declined by 3 kopiyok to UAH 43.61 per litre. At the current exchange rate, these prices place the average cost of A-95 petrol at approximately USD 1.94 (GBP 1.52 / EUR 1.78) per litre, and diesel at roughly USD 2.21 (GBP 1.74 / EUR 2.03) per litre.
Prices varied across major retail chains. At state owned Ukrnafta stations, A-95 petrol sold for UAH 79.90 per litre, diesel for UAH 89.90 per litre, and autogas for UAH 42.90 per litre. The Avantage 7 network offered the lowest price for A-95 petrol among the tracked chains at UAH 76.95 per litre, equivalent to about USD 1.84 (GBP 1.45 / EUR 1.69). Its diesel was priced at UAH 90.95 per litre and autogas at UAH 40.45 per litre.
OKKO stations set A-95 petrol at UAH 82.90 per litre, diesel at UAH 93.90 per litre, and autogas at UAH 43.90 per litre. The BRSM Nafta network listed A-95 petrol at UAH 78.67 per litre, diesel at UAH 90.94 per litre, and autogas at UAH 41.36 per litre. WOG stations, typically among the higher priced operators, sold A-95 petrol at UAH 83.50 per litre, diesel at UAH 93.80 per litre, and autogas at UAH 44.50 per litre. The BVS network posted A-95 petrol at UAH 82.90 per litre, the highest diesel price in the survey at UAH 94.90 per litre, and autogas at UAH 42.90 per litre.
The slight decline on Tuesday followed a similar trend from Monday, 10 August, when the average A-95 petrol price fell by 2 kopiyok to UAH 81.05 per litre and diesel dropped by 6 kopiyok to UAH 92.64 per litre. The two day cumulative decline in diesel amounts to 13 kopiyok per litre.
