(KYIV, UKRAINE) – Diesel prices at Ukrainian petrol stations continued to rise on 28 July, increasing pressure on transport companies, businesses and consumers, while average petrol prices recorded a small decline.

The average price of A 95 petrol fell by UAH 0.04 per litre to UAH 80.87 per litre, while diesel prices increased by UAH 0.70 per litre to UAH 88.88 per litre, according to data reported by Minfin.

The average diesel price of UAH 88.88 per litre is equivalent to about US$2.14, Β£1.60 and €1.83 per litre at current exchange rates.

Average prices across other fuel categories also showed mixed movements. Premium A 95 petrol fell by UAH 0.04 to UAH 84.14 per litre, equal to around US$2.02, Β£1.51 and €1.73.

Standard A 92 petrol increased by UAH 0.02 to UAH 77.66 per litre, equivalent to about US$1.87, Β£1.32 and €1.60 per litre.

Autogas prices rose by UAH 0.57 to an average of UAH 42.10 per litre, equal to approximately US$1.01, Β£0.76 and €0.87.

Fuel prices remain closely monitored by Ukrainian businesses because diesel is widely used in freight transport, agriculture, construction and industrial operations. Higher diesel costs can increase logistics expenses and affect prices across supply chains.

Among major fuel networks, Ukrnafta stations reported prices of UAH 79.90 per litre for A 95 petrol, UAH 86.90 per litre for diesel and UAH 40.90 per litre for autogas.

Avantazh 7 stations listed A 95 petrol at UAH 79.95 per litre, diesel at UAH 89.95 per litre and autogas at UAH 38.95 per litre.

OKKO stations reported A 95 petrol at UAH 82.90 per litre, diesel at UAH 89.90 per litre and autogas at UAH 42.90 per litre.

BRSM Nafta stations listed A 95 petrol at UAH 78.40 per litre, diesel at UAH 86.90 per litre and autogas at UAH 39.88 per litre.

WOG stations reported A 95 petrol at UAH 83.50 per litre, diesel at UAH 90.80 per litre and autogas at UAH 42.90 per litre.

BVS stations listed A 95 petrol at UAH 82.90 per litre, diesel at UAH 92.90 per litre and autogas at UAH 41.57 per litre.

The latest figures follow a sharp increase recorded the previous day. On 27 July, average A 95 petrol prices increased by UAH 0.83 per litre to UAH 80.91, while diesel prices rose by UAH 2.95 per litre to UAH 88.18.

Fuel price movements in Ukraine continue to reflect wider pressures affecting the energy market, including transport challenges, supply conditions and the impact of the ongoing war on logistics networks.
