(KYIV, UKRAINE) – Ukraine’s Ministry of Finance raised almost UAH 2.3 billion (USD 51.3 million / GBP 40.1 million / EUR 46.7 million) for the state budget at its latest auction of domestic government bonds on Tuesday.
The ministry offered hryvnia-denominated bonds across three maturities. A one-year bond maturing in 2027 drew UAH 719.74 million (USD 16.0 million / GBP 12.5 million / EUR 14.6 million) at a yield of 15.16 percent. A bond maturing in 1.7 years attracted UAH 575.81 million (USD 12.8 million / GBP 10.0 million / EUR 11.7 million) at 15.64 percent. The longest offering, a 2.5 year bond, raised UAH 999.92 million (USD 22.3 million / GBP 17.4 million / EUR 20.3 million) at 16.07 percent.

Since the start of 2026, the government has raised more than UAH 319.06 billion (USD 7.11 billion / GBP 5.56 billion / EUR 6.47 billion) through domestic bond sales. Since the beginning of the full scale war, total funds raised from war bond placements exceed UAH 2.34 trillion (USD 52.2 billion / GBP 40.8 billion / EUR 47.5 billion).
All proceeds from the sale of war bonds are directed towards supporting Ukraine’s Armed Forces and strengthening the financial resilience of the state.
According to data from the National Bank of Ukraine, the government raised more than UAH 312 billion (USD 6.96 billion / GBP 5.44 billion / EUR 6.33 billion) from the sale and exchange of domestic government bonds at auctions during the period from January to July of this year. Over the entire period of martial law, the total stands at almost UAH 1.77 trillion (USD 39.5 billion / GBP 30.8 billion / EUR 35.9 billion).
