(KYIV, UKRAINE) – Ukraine’s Prime Minister has ordered a full accounting of progress on national resilience plans, demanding a clear picture of completed tasks, the most serious risks and areas requiring urgent reinforcement by the end of this week.
Sergiy Koretskyi said he had convened a meeting of responsible ministries and services because the execution of the resilience plans has been unsatisfactory. “It is critically important to be clearly aware of existing gaps and shortcomings and the ways to resolve them. Control over the implementation of the plans will be constant,” Koretskyi wrote on Facebook.
The Prime Minister said he expects to receive the real state of affairs on each direction: what has been done, where the greatest risks lie, and where immediate strengthening is required.
The next stage will be an expanded meeting involving the heads of regional military administrations and the heads of state companies, he added.
Earlier, Koretskyi instructed officials to prepare proposals by 27 July for an express analysis of all ministries to assess their current condition. He also ordered agencies to review the work of commissions, committees and coordination bodies.
The government has already allocated 40 billion Ukrainian hryvnia, equivalent to about 1.1 billion US dollars or roughly 840 million British pounds, for preparing the regions for winter.
